Yesterday, we were to have left for our winter home in a campground near Crystal River FL. As most of you know, a dangerous hurricane is headed for the Florida Gulf coast near Tampa. Crystal River is just 80 miles north of that. Our camper now sits in the expected path of that hurricane but more importantly, friends we have made are not as lucky as we are. They are not home safe in a permanent structure well out of the path of expected devastation. We have been in contact with some of those people who we consider good friends and they are packing up belongings and trying to find a place to store them out of harm’s way. Some others have probably hooked up their RVs and headed north but some don’t have that option because they don’t have a proper tow vehicle. For most, all they own is in their camping unit. My heart cries for them. The campground has now closed all the public buildings so there is no block -walled laundry or restroom to run to. Even in their haste to save their possessions, they offered to do what they could to buckle down our empty trailer. We left it last April all closed up so it will be as protected as it can be. I pray that all those in harm’s way are protected by their guardian angels in this time of need. May we all be able to get together after the storm passes to heal our wounds and renew old friendships.

Bless all those in Florida and their family and friends who care about them.

Love and Light,
Dulany and Marilyn
